Mr. Saad bin Mohammed Al-Sunaidi received the Prince Sultan Bin Salman award for photographers in the Kingdom, Who was nominated by the King Fahd National Library for his outstanding efforts in serving the Nation and his contribution to development the photography in the Kingdom. His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman, the President of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, honored Al-Sunaidi and the other winners of His Highness award for various types of Photography, on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the sixth session for the Saudi Colors Forum, Which held last Tuesday in Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Al-Sunaidi is one of the retired employees of King Fahad National Library and he was the first Saudi, who get a bachelor degree in photography from the Higher Institute of Cinema in Egypt. In addition, he was the first to use photography in the province of Shaqraa in 1390 AH, and he issued a book "Shaqraa in photos between 1390 and 1393".
The Prince Sultan Bin Salman photography award, sponsored by "Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage", Which is one of the most important awards in photography domain. Moreover, it is an important catalyst to creativity in photography domain and deepen the attention for the cultural, historical and cultural heritage of the Kingdom in all the forms, also it is given to creators in tourism photography domain, for their contributions to enrich the cultural, heritage and tourism life.
